OCTOBER 2008
An election is right around the corner. In this perilous time of change we are living in, there are so many important things to turn our attention to. The worlds economy has fallen into deep trouble within just the last 2 or 3 weeks, wars and rumors of war are still raging across the world. Children, women, and those weaker than others are being exploited and abused. There is hurt and harmful things happening all around us that could turn our own hearts to fear. Yet there is always hope to turn our hearts from fear to faith.
There are those who say there is no hope, yet Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, taught that He is the light and hope of the world. In this time of question and instabililty we can still find peace in His Gospel of truth. But in His peace, we must also stand as witnessess of His teachings, in this world that would have us believe that morals and standing against unrighteous behavior is being intolerant.
I stand for the rights of every person to live life and worship God in the way they see fit. I stand for the basic principles of freedom established by the Founding Fathers of this United States of America. I stand for the unborn child. I stand for the definition of marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman. I stand against being 'politically correct' as it seeks to errode the moral compass and values of righteousness. I fight vigorously against the spreading of pornography, of boy man love and all like evils. I stand by those who are being abused, and live to fight against, strangers,'family', or 'friends', who choose to abuse.
If in this time of uncertainty, we can unite and stand up to the world against onslaughts to the principles of righteousness, we will feel the Savior's ever -encircling arms of love about us and all things will fall into place as God would have them, for the eternal happiness of all of His earthly children.
