For over a week now, we have been watching the summer Olympics, London 2012, every night on the television. I have watched the athletes in awe of their dedication and tenacity, striving to be the best they could be. 
Gently, the Lord used the example of all those athletes to teach me that we each are capable of greatness. The athletes have as their goal, physical prowess. If I want to reach my goal of living with Heavenly Father and His Son again, I must be willing to train and to sacrifice for that goal, at the very least, as much as those athletes train and sacrifice for their goal.
WOW, what an eye opener. Why should I think that anything less than that would get me ‘on the medal stand’, let alone, earning ‘gold’.
